Who We Are

Why we exist and what this means for you.

Why We Exist

Movement Church is a community of people that have found freedom and purpose in Jesus, and want as many people as possible to experience this same freedom. Jesus loved people and as His church we are called to do the same. We are passionate about connecting with our community! At Movement Church we believe that every person matters and is made in the image of God.

Movement Church is committed to fostering a community built around love and hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. We accomplish this as we live out love in every aspect of our lives. As we serve others and serve our community, we are communicating the simple message, "We are with you." We are not a church that is simply in the community, we desire to be a church that is with our community.

We are passionate about growing the Kingdom of God in every community in our city. We believe the church is made up of people, not buildings or programs. Our vision is to plant churches in spaces where community life is already happening and places where serving others becomes a natural way of life. We are just ordinary people following an extraordinary God.

Where We're Headed

At Movement Church we have a clear purpose to become one church, many locations. Every church that is planted in a community is committed to serving others, meeting needs, building intentional relationships and growing together as followers of Jesus.

What Does This Mean For You?

Most importantly, you're always welcome at Movement Church. We're saving a seat for you. Wherever you're at in your faith journey, you'll always be accepted as part of the Movement Church community.
